There shall be monthly examination, Test Examination and Council / University Examination for all students of +2 and +3 Classes, Students suceeding in the Test Examination will be eligible to appear at the Council / University Examinations.

Procedure for application :
Both the admission to +2 & +3 stream are under e-Admission process in our own SAMS Resource Centre (SRC).

Appearance in exams is compulsory.

Marks secured in these examination will be considered at the time or promoting the students to the next higher class and sendingup for the University or H. S. Examination subject to satisfactory conduct. Students absenting themselves from these examinations will not be eligible for promotion or for being sentup for the University or H. S. Examinations.

Every student is required to appear at all these examinations in order to earn his/her progress certificate. A student who absents himself from any of the examinations is fined at the rate of Rs. 25.00 per paper to a maximum of Rs. 100.00 unless he/she applies to the Principal in writing with supporting evidence for exemption from fine.

  1. Whenever a student is found resorting to malpractice during any examination he/she will be straightway fined Rs. 200.00 and awarded zero in the particular paper of the said examination and the punishment notice will be read out in the classes and also sent to his/her parents or guardian.
  2. The Principal may reduce the fine if the student shows improvement but in any case, the undertaking furnished by the student should again be read out in all classes and also sent to his/her parents or guardian.
  3. The same procedure of punishments shall also apply to the students’ who misbehave during examination (Vide Circular No, 1504. Dt. 11.1.77 of the DPI, (HE) Orissa)
  4. Students found resorting to unfair means for the second time in the examination shall be severely dealt with and run the risk of being detained or being expelled from the college.

Application for exemption from college examinations only, in exceptional cases, may be made within three days after the completion of the examination and duly supported by medical certificate must be endorsed by the concerned proctor and officer in charge of college examinations.

For promotion of students to the next higher class and for sending up students to the H. S. or University Examination principles are to be laid down by the Principal and recommendations of the Staff Council are to be sought for.

Percentage of Attendance :
A student is required to attend 75% of the attendance of the lectures and tutorials or practical classes taken separately during the session. Condonation may be granted only to the extent of 15% in exceptional cases - when a students secures attendane between 60% and 74%.

The Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa in Arts, Science and Commerce courses shall ordinarily be held once a year. This Annual examination shall be held in the month of March.

Qualification / Eligibility for enrolment / admission to the Annual Higher Secondary Examination :
A student who has been registered under the Council and is in possession of registration receipt and has completed a regular course of study in an affiliated / permitted institution on the affiliated subject(s) in which he/she wishes to be examined for not less than two academic years aterpassing H. S. C. Examination or recognised equivalent examination and has been sent up for the Annual H. S. examination by the institution where he / she is studying and attended at least 75% of lectures and practical classes of each of the subjects is eligible to appear the Annual Higher Secondary Examination.

Examination for +2 1st Year Class (Arts/Sc./Com.) :
In the 1st year of +2 class, a student who has been sent up for the said examination attending at least 75% of lectures and practical classes of each of the subjects is eligible to appear. The examination will be conducted by the college as per the enrolment for the said examination and questions according to the courses of study will be supplied by the Council / College.
